Just in case anyone has been tuning in, I'm really sorry that I've been neglecting this blog lately. I've been busy. Not with froth (see previous entries) but with stuff I've been required (and not necessarily thrilled) to do. So here are some thought bullets to unwind:

* Let me start by saying that I'm not very fond of this sem. I'm constantly loaded with work and papers and I rarely get to see my friends. Now I am a creature of balance. All work and no social life tends to leave me sad and discontented. Hindi ko carry magpaka-loner and workaholic. I consider social interaction an everyday must, especially with the people who matter the most to me. Unfortunately that has hardly been the case lately.

* Jim Lafferty once said that once you become a Christian, you completely give up the right to judge other people. It's part and parcel of the faith. I'm quoting him because I'm rather disappointed in some people who I know for a fact have been saying mean things behind my back for months now, about my spiritual life, nonetheless; people who pride themselves in being "Christians." I just think it's wrong for them to suddenly think themselves better than others just because they think they have been enlightened. And you know what's ironic? My friends and family who know me best, those who have seen the good AND the bad in me have never judged me that way. As for those who are saying such things, let's just say that out of the 168 hours we have in a week, they only see me for 2-4 hours, and during those 2-4 hours we don't even talk to each other. So I'm like dudes, where on earth did you get your information? About my spiritual life, nonetheless. Close tayo?

* 2009 was a year of heartbreak, loss, and (painful) cleansing. Hopefully 2010 will be about gain, progression, happiness, and abundance. No more drama, please. 2009 was the most unbelievably dramatic year yet.

* The Christmas goods are starting to pour into the house again. Oh no. Last night the people at Chem Eng'g left me alone in the office with a huge chocolate bar lying open on the table. I can't be blamed for what happened next.

* We were required to watch the Oblation Run last Tuesday in our Soc Sci 3 class. People kept saying, "Ang liit!" And in my head I was like, "Er, I wouldn't know. No point of comparison." :p

* Kriska, Cel, and I got together after the Oblation Run for a late lunch. It turns out Cel watched it too. AS was just too crowded for us to bump into each other. "How about you?" we asked Kriska. "Where were you?" "I was at the 12nn mass," she answered. We burst out laughing. Just picture the two scenes in your head happening at the same time. Imagine Kriska; then me and Cel. Put those two pictures together. Lovely, haha!

* Sir Chino Toledo is one of the funniest people I know. He mentioned that it was my birthday recently and asked how old I was. Well I've always had the habit of joking that I was 16. So for a change I told him I was 17 already. "Hindi nga?" he said. "Oo nga," I answered. "Yung totoo," he insisted. "Totoo nga, Sir," I stood my ground. "5th year ka na tapos 17 ka pa lang? Anong age ka nakapasok sa college niyan?" he challenged. "I got into college very early, Sir. I'm a genius." He answered, "Genius? Hindi ako naniniwala. Naging estudyante na kita dati eh!"

* ANG SAMA NIYO, SIR! HAHAHAHA!

Anyway that will be all for now. I still have a lunch with my girls. Forgive the low conceptualization of this blog entry. The following blog entries might be similar. I'm just far too busy to come up with well-thought-up entries for this public diary of mine. I'm either writing articles or drumming up college papers so I need to cut myself some writing slack.
